Why is it that although we want happiness, even actively pursue happiness, it appears to be so elusive, so tricky to catch sight of, let alone capture it?
And happiness is such a vague concept, isn’t it? Does it mean the same as well-being, joy, serenity, fulfilment? Is happiness perhaps left in the vague so that we can define our own terms and our own definitions?
On a visit to Portugal many years ago, the Dalai Lama saw construction sites everywhere and remarked “Look, you are doing all these things. But isn’t it nice also to build something within?”
The experience that translates everything is within the Mind. So, what is the nature of Mind?
